About Guardians LEHC

Guardians Law Enforcement Heritage Club was founded to honor, preserve, and protect the living heritage of Clan Strachan, a historic Scottish clan whose roots trace back to the ancient lands of Kincardineshire and Aberdeenshire. The name Strachan—derived from the Gaelic Strath Eoin or Strath Achain—speaks to a people shaped by the land, loyalty, and resilience.

Clan Strachan has long been connected through alliance and proximity with other Highland and Lowland clans, including historic affiliations and shared ties with clans such as Clan Keith, Clan Irvine, and Clan Fraser, reflecting centuries of cooperation, kinship, and survival in Scotland’s shifting political and cultural landscape. Though the clan experienced periods of dispersal—particularly during times of conflict and upheaval—its descendants carried their identity across the world, keeping its spirit alive through generations.

Our Mission

Guardians LEHC exists to be stewards of that legacy.

Preserve history by researching, documenting, and sharing the story of Clan Strachan and its affiliated clans

Strengthen identity by reconnecting descendants and supporters with their heritage, values, and symbols

Guard tradition while adapting it for a modern world—where honor, responsibility, and community still matter

We believe heritage is not something frozen in the past, but something actively carried forward. To be a Guardian is not merely to remember where we came from, but to live in a way that honors it—through integrity, service, and respect for those who came before and those who will follow.

Strachan Guardians welcomes all who feel called to protect history, uphold tradition, and stand as custodians of a shared cultural legacy.
